Job Title: Tax Analyst
The position will be multi-disciplinary and focus on assisting with Federal and State income and property taxes. Computations. The position will serve multiple managers and/or other more senior professional staff members within the tax department.
Key responsibilities & deliverables
Assist with the preparation of Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) & Lagos State Internal Revenue Service (LIRS) Income tax returns and payments
Assist with the preparation of responses to various tax audits
Assist with responses to notices regarding FIRS and LIRS tax issues
Conduct client tax compliance reviews and health checks
Coordinate client monthly tax and other regulatory compliance requirements
Liaise with the Relevant Tax Authorities on behalf of Clients.
Preparing research on various tax issues
Assist with the preparation of income tax provision and tax account reconciliations
Assist with other projects as necessary
Excellent analytical skills, motivation and confidence to independently address issues
Proficiency in the use of MS Excel, MS Word & Powerpoint
Basic understanding of Nigerian Tax Laws
Good command of written and spoken English
Prior Leadership experience

B.Sc or HND in Accounting with a minimum of Second Class Upper or Upper Credit from a reputable University, College of Education or Polytechnic
