Job Title: Marketing Executive

About the Job

In this role, you will support the development and execution of profitable and effective customer engagement and multi-channel marketing activities that will drive customer acquisition, retention and cross-sell efforts in order to achieve commercial targets.
Specific Accountabilities

Supporting the execution of marketing plans and activities via various online and offline channels.
Maintaining good relationships with suppliers and agencies at all times
Ongoing measurement of all marketing budget spend to ensure it is in track of allocated budget for financial year and meets objectives whilst generating ROI
Conducting Privilege Club related activities to support country to achieve FFP KPIs set
Following all procurement and finance policies and procedures to ensure the region is compliant with company requirements
Submitting and coordinating delivery of marketing assets, ensuring all approvals are obtained by the Regional Marketing Manager
Contribute in achieving the qatarairways.com revenue, share (penetration), online check-in (OLCI) penetration, conversion and B2C e-newsletter subscriber’s database targets for the country
Liaising with Regional Office e-commerce, prepare e-commerce brief, submit and coordinate delivery of digital assets (banners, e-newsletters)
Requirements
About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need a trade or vocational qualification combined with a minimum of four years of job-related experience in the marketing and e-commerce fields. Prior experience in the financial services industry would be well regarded.
You will need excellent written and spoken communication skills combined with a proven ability to develop, maintain and foster effective working relationships with all levels of company management, alliance partners and vendors.
You will need to be fluent (written and spoken) in English to perform this role.

Job Title: Reservations & Ticketing Agent

About the Job

In this role, you will provide full service-oriented professional reservations and ticketing service to all customers and travel businesses either through telephone calls or in person meeting in order to achieve optimal customer satisfaction and achieve budget revenue targets.
Accountabilities

Makes and confirms reservations for passengers
Arranges Reservations and routing for using timetable, airlines manuals, reference guides and tariff book and proper issuance of ATB for all types of ticketing transactions
Assist mishandled passengers such as NOREC/DNB to reduce passenger complaints
Issue tickets quoting correct fare to reduce passenger complaints and debit notes
Advise of changes in flight plan or to cancel passenger reservations
Advise load control personnel and other stations of changes in passenger itinerary to control space and ensure utilization of seating capacity on flights.
Initiate and promote QR product to generate the revenue
Record and process reservations made by phone/fax/e-mail; action telex messages and authorities.
Handle helpdesk-assist travel agents with seat confirmations: upgrade/downgrade proposals
Issuance of MCO’s and refunds’ process lost tickets and time barred tickets
Plans route and computes ticket cost, using schedules, rate books and computer
Telephones customer or travel agents to advise of changes with travel conveyance or to confirm reservations, as well as alternate available options
Answer inquires made by travel agencies or transportation firms, such as airlines, bus companies, railroad companies, and steamship lines
Requirements

Completion of the IATA Amadeus Certificate is an advantage.

Job Title: Senior Reservations & Ticketing Agent

About the Job

In this role, you will lead the reservation and ticketing agents and act as an intermediary between staff and management.
You will plan, supervise, and support the team in order to achieve optimal customer satisfaction and surpass the annual revenue targets.
You will replay information to the customer and assist in finding the right itinerary for their needs.
You will cancel and change reservations when customers request it.
You will also encourage teamwork, consistency of service and proper coordination.
Specific Accountabilities

Handling customer requirements and requests professionally ensuring minimum complaints. You will also support travel agents with seat confirmation and arrange VIP bookings/ticket queries
Guiding and supporting staff and keeping updated with relevant changes in the industry and QR products/services
Showing dedication and commitments to handle the maximum number of telephone calls and passengers whilst at all times carefully following QR procedures and regulations to achieve the highest possible quality of reservations service
Arranging reservations and routings for passengers, utilising the Amadeus system to make the bookings for passengers and effectively communicating fares, policies and procedures to passengers by providing accurate information
Issuing tickets and quoting correct fares to passengers
Supporting staff and customers to resolve difficult issues and problems pertaining to reservations and ticketing on a daily basis
About you
