Senior Manager, Sales & Marketing

  • Day to day management of the sales team ensuring they are on track for achieving KPI’s.
  • Setting sales and marketing KPI’s to manage activity within the team.
  • Ability to grow incremental and new sales for the business while simultaneously reducing customer turnover
  • Performance managing underperforming members of the sales team.
  • Overseeing all marketing activity and ensuring it fits with the marketing strategy.
  • Analyze and create a plan for engaging the target market

  • A first degree in Business Administration, Agricultural Economics or any other related discipline
  • Not less than 5 years’ experience in Estates, Farms and Lands

  • Minimum of 5 years experience with Farm Management is imperative
  • First degree in Agriculture or related discipline
  • Knowledge and skills in crop and animal production
  • Understanding of farm investments
  • Candidates will be consulting with farmers or independent owners and also provide professional advice in managing farms & its operations

Duties will include: 

  • Consulting with farmers or independent owners for raising of crops or for management of crop production.
  • Oversee the development of crops, animals and other items that can be sold to businesses or private consumers.
  • Record information, such as production, farm management practices, and parent stock, and prepare financial and operational reports.
  • Hiring and overseeing production workers
  • Purchasing machinery, equipment, and supplies, such as tractors, seed, fertilizer, and chemicals.
  • Budgeting and maintaining accurate financial records
  • Hires, discharges, transfers, and promotes workers, enforce safety regulations, and interprets policies.
  • Advertising and marketing farm products or the work of the farmer.
  • Organizing sales and purchases of livestock, farm equipment, crops and agricultural products
  • Ensuring that the farm is profitable and meets projected financial targets
  • Ensuring that farm activities comply with government regulations
  • Organizing maintenance/repair of farm property, equipment and machinery
  • Visiting farms to conduct analyses and collect data, such as crop yield
  • Advertising and marketing farm products or the work of the farmer.
