PAL Pensions (PAL) was incorporated on April 14, 2005 to manage and administer retirement savings contributions of employees in Nigeria as a result of the Pension Reform Act of 2004 for which we charge an administrative fee of N80 monthly. Pensions Alliance is a joint venture between First Securities Discount House Limited (FSDH) and African Alliance Insurance Company Limited (African Alliance). Currently we have a client base of over 300, 000.

Grade Alignment: Senior Officer
Qualification

  •     The successful candidate must be between 28 – 35 years old
  •     Must be a graduate of a renowned University with a minimum qualification of 2:2 in any social science course
  •     5 years post NYSC experience in a related field is compulsory
  •     A masters degree from a local or foreign university will be a bonus

Job Description

  •     Management of the Client feedback process
  •     Resolution of all customer related queries
  •     Develop different educational materials and write ups weekly to send to customers
  •     Supervision of all inbound and outbound calls received in the department
  •     Attend to clients via the live chat platform
  •     Manage the company’s face book page and resolve all queries logged on the page
  •     Provide weekly activity reports on all customers service activities

Job Description

  •     Coordinate staff recruitment and selection process in order to ensure a timely organized and comprehensive procedure is used to hire staff
  •     Identify training and development opportunities
  •     Provide assistance when conducting staff performance evaluations
  •     Organize staff training sessions, workshops and activities
  •     Provide assistance in developing Human Resource Plans
  •     Monitor staff performance and attendance activities
  •     Provide Information and assistance to staff, supervisors and company on human resource and work related issues
  •     Provide advice and assistance to staff and management on pay and benefits systems

SALES AND MARKETING- PSM0011

  •     Business Development
  •     Preparation and coordination of action plans for effective search of sales leads and prospective markets
  •     Preparation and submission of proposals and presentations to prospective employers
  •     Registration of new clients under the pension Reform Act 2004
  •     Management of existing clients with the view of retaining clientele base
  •     Meet all sales target
  •     Adherence to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within sales team

HR & ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGER
Location: Lagos

Job Description

Reports to: General Manager
Main areas of Responsibility:

  • Directs and manages the HR and administrative staff
  • Develops administrative and HR procedures and policies
  • Organizes and implements a proper administrative and HR structure and ensures effective distribution of duties and responsibilities to administrative/HR staff
  • Prepares administrative/HR budget
  • Oversees the repairs and maintenance of the Head Office and branches of the organization
  • Manages and controls the vehicles, the generating sets, the housekeeping services, the expatriates housing facilities and the security services
  • Liaises with government agencies (NAFDAC, NSTIF, etc…)
  • Development and implementation of a Health and Safety policy
  • Issues and maintains expatriates visas and liaises with immigration governmental agencies
  • Supervises the maintenance of the Personnel files (job descriptions, hiring, leaves, attendance, etc.)
  • Develops appraisal and evaluation forms
  • Coordinates with Heads of Department on their staff requirements

Qualifications

  • A good first degree in business administration, industrial relations or any other relevant field
  • An MBA will be an added advantage
  • Member of relevant HR bodies (CIPM, SHRM, e.t.c)
  • Minimum of seven years experience in human resource generalist role
  • Good knowledge of FMCG sector
