Overview

A church requires the services of qualified and experienced candidate for immediate employment.   Responsibilities: I.          Taking notes and minutes of meeting held between Parish Priest and other parties. II.          Writing, editing and disseminating information through presentations, spreadsheets, letters, memos, minutes of meetings and mails. III.          Typesetting, designing, photocopying and printing of official documents for Parish Priest, PCC, committees and other groups in the church. IV.          Attending to secretarial needs of parishioners. V.          Designing and printing of service bulletins. VI.          Keeping record of appointments and schedule of the Parish priest. VII.          Maintain archives and database system of the church. VIII.          Receiving and attending to visitors of the Parish Priest. IX.          Keeping stock of office supplies, stationeries and making arrangement for new orders. X.          Depositing and withdrawing cash on behalf of the church. XI.          Any other duties assigned by the Parish Priest. Qualifications and Requirements: a.      Minimum of OND (preferably secretarial administration). b.     1-3 years experience as a secretary (preferably in a church). c.      Must be computer literate, good knowledge of desktop publishing and Microsoft office packages. d.     Must be smart, agile and organised. e.      Possess excellent interpersonal communication skills. f.      Ability to work with minimal or no supervision and under pressure. g.      Resident in Abuja (preferably, Airport Road axis) Application Closing Date: 10th May, 2015 .
